Get a HANDLE on Neurodevelopmental Differences

The HANDLE (Holistic Approach to Neuro Developmental & learning Efficiency) approach is a programme which focuses on understanding the human body, brain, mind, and spirit as plastic and interactive requesting shifting attention from the parts to focus on patterns that connect.
This approach was developed by Ms. Judith Bluestone, who herself is an individual with Autism, triumphed over the challenges of autism. It is a non drug alternative which helps in identification assessment and treatment program for most of neuro-developmental disorders. ADD/ADHD, brain injury, autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration disorders, learning disabilities, obsessive-compulsive disorders, cerebral palsy, anxiety disorders, learning disabilities, etc. are the labels often used to describe behavioral and academic challenges that many people face.

HANDLE will help you see beyond these labels and gain an understanding of the underlying causes of the behaviors leading to these diagnoses. You will learn about the unique approach of HANDLE, which makes its therapeutic programs so effective. You will receive helpful ideas and get to practice activities you can apply in your work or with your family member

Trainer : Ms Marianne Wagner

Marianne is certified HANDLE instructor. She is studied & worked as public school teacher in Switzerland before moving to USA. She has 20 years of teaching experience, mostly in private school in Waldorf school system. Besides teaching she offers ongoing parent & teachers education classes she has taken many courses in development, especially sensory development & special needs. This led her to take training at the handle institute. She has fully certified as a HANDLE practioner in 2003. She offers training to childcare providers, teachers, professionals and parents.
